Earlier today, Nintendo released their financial results briefing for the nine months ending in December 2023, revealing updated sales figures for their consoles and games.
As pointed out by @Pierre485, the Switch has finally crossed a major sales milestone in Japan and become the country’s best selling game hardware of all time. At 33.34 million units sold in Japan, it has taken the crown from the previous title holder the Nintendo DS, which sold 32.99 million units in its lifespan.
