Nintendo has partnered with IT Gaming distributer Synnex to officially launch the Nintendo Switch in Thailand.
The two companies held the grand opening event at Siam Square on July 28th 2023, cementing Synnex as the official full-service distributor for Nintendo’s consoles in Thailand. Switch owners living in the country will now have “seamless access” to Nintendo products through Synnex service centers and online stores. Those who attended the grand opening event got a chance to try out the console and play games such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom, and more.
You can check out some pictures from the event below:
This news comes a few months after Nintendo shuttered its original Official Thailand store, seemingly due to their local distribution partner JD Central closing down. Presumably, Synnex has now taken JD Central’s place and will be providing repairs and after-sales support for Switch owners in addition to selling games and consoles.
