Tencent Talks About Arena Of Valor’s Switch Development

Tencent recently sat down with ComicBook to discuss about the progress of Arena of Valor’s development on Nintendo Switch.

First and foremost, the Switch version of Arena of Valor isn’t being developed by Tencent’s in-house team, but rather by a different company. Tencent is providing support for the Switch version in terms of beta testing, branding, marketing, and other areas that aren’t related to development.

While there isn’t an official timeline set for North American beta testing and launch, Tencent says they will have a clearer picture for launches in different regions after results from the European beta testing come in.

Tencent hasn’t decided on a pricing structure for the Switch version of the game yet, and is still considering a data transfer option for Arena of Valor players on mobile to Switch. They are still unsure of doing this as they feel it might be unfair to beginners on Switch.
