#ThankYouGameFreak Becomes No. 1 Trending Hashtag In The United States
Interesting news – a new hashtag called #ThankYouGameFreak has become the No. 1 trending topic in the United States.
The hashtag is being used as a way for Pokemon fans to show their appreciation and support to Game Freak, the studio that makes the mainline Pokemon games. This comes after we heard news about the low morale employees had at Game Freak, and the personal attacks developers such as Junichi Masuda suffered due to the decision to cut Pokemon from Pokemon Sword and Shield.
You can have a look at the tweets below:
#ThankYouGameFreak for making video games that introduced me to my lifelong loves of music and gaming! Without games like Pokémon in my life, I would have never met most of the wonderful people I'm proud to call my friends today! pic.twitter.com/oU9cm483ns

#ThankYouGameFreak for so many wonderful games over the last (almost) 24 years. The Pokémon franchise absolutely changed my life and has given me so many fantastic memories, and I can’t wait for even more next week with Sword & Shield! pic.twitter.com/kt1hpoARjf

We’d like to take this opportunity to remind Pokemon fans that it’s okay to disagree with each other over certain decisions made by the developers of the Pokemon games, but it is not okay to launch personal attacks on the developers or fellow fans.
