The C button, which was leaked in renders and mockups of the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2024, had its ‘C’ missing from the Nintendo Switch 2 reveal trailer that Nintendo had put out on January 16, 2025.
While the button itself was present in the trailer, details on its functionality have yet to be officially explained.
Rumors suggest that the button, when pressed, would open up a social hub that allows screen sharing, group chat, and voice chat for up to 12 players. It is extremely likely that information on the C button will be shared in the upcoming Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 broadcast on April 2, 2025.
