In an interview with Nintendo Life, The Outer Worlds’ production director Eric DeMilt shared his feelings on Switch in general, as well as what it’s like seeing The Outer Worlds on the handheld platform.
“The Switch is a great piece of hardware. It is really cool to see a full featured “Obsidian RPG” like The Outer Worlds running on a handheld, and to be able to take that experience with you wherever you want to play it.”
DeMilt also shared an interesting tidbit about the future of the game on the Switch. While there’s been no official mention of DLC coming to the Switch port, DeMilt definitely hopes that it happens and that the fans share his sentiments.
“I hope that both Private Division and Switch players want to see more Outer Worlds content on the Switch in the future.”
With all that being said, The Outer Worlds as a standalone release already has hours’ worth of amazing content in it, so if you’re looking for a rich single-player RPG on the Switch, why not pick this one up?
