Several years ago, a Pokemon fan started something called Twitch Plays Pokemon, a Pokemon Red game where Twitch users could control the game by keying in commands in the chat box of the livestream.
It seems the Twitch Plays concept has been revived today with another popular game – Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Multiple Twitch users can now try fighting in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a team in Twitch Plays Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Sasori, the man behind the idea, is challenging viewers on Twitch Plays Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to work together to complete World of Light. A few battles have taken place since the stream started on Twitch.
