Ubisoft Says Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope Still Planned To Launch This Fiscal Year

In their most recent financial report, Ubisoft shared a small update on the status of Ubisoft Says Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope, the upcoming new entry in the crossover series between Super Mario and Rabbids.

According to the company, Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope is still part of their lineup for the current fiscal year ending on March 31st 2023, along with a few other key projects for 2022-23. Unfortunately, no specific date in particular was shared.

2022-23 will see the first benefits from this strategy as we look to significantly grow our topline. The biggest driver of our topline growth will be our diverse line-up of premium games, including Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope and Skull & Bones, as well as other exciting titles. Our growth will also benefit from our Free-to-Play releases, based notably on our biggest IPs. Some of these titles have been undergoing internal and external test phases and are in final stages of development. We expect they will be a meaningful driver of PRI progression in FY23.

Notably, Nintendo’s own financial results briefing lists Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope as a 2022 release, which would suggest that the game will launch latest by December 2022. We will be sure to report back with further updates when they become available.
