US Government Investigating The Game That Stole Yoshi’s Island DS Music

Earlier this week, we shared with you a recycling game created by the US federal government that blatantly made use of Yoshi’s Island DS music without permission.

The Verge reached out to the EPA (Environment Protection Agency) for comment on this matter, and here’s what they said:

‘The ‘Recycle City Challenge’ game was created for EPA by a contractor. We are looking into whether the contractor received permission to use the music, to the extent permission was necessary in this instance.’

So it looks like the contractor that made the game could get into hot soup as the EPA is now looking into this matter.

What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
