If you’re an amiibo collector or someone who buys amiibo for fun, you may have probably wondered how amiibo should be best stored or whether they should be taken out of the box.
Japanese Nintendo collector WanzoGames conducted a 2 month long experiment to find out just that. In this experiment, multiple Reese amiibo are stored in different places and room conditions, left untouched for two months. Here are the results of the experiment.

Results: All of them look the same.

Results: Surprisingly, all of them look the same as the first group of amiibo which were stored in favorable conditions.
Here’s how the amiibo looked like 2 months before…
2 months later, this happens:
While the box has faded, the amiibo retained its color and quality, despite receiving direct sunlight.
Results: Looks exactly the same as the amiibo in Group 1.
