This week, an interesting topic about Nintendo Switch download codes was discussed on a Japanese Internet forum.
Japanese users were asking themselves the real reason why Nintendo doesn’t use the alphabets I, O, and Z in their download codes. After some discussion, they came to the conclusion that Nintendo didn’t want users to mix I, O, and Z up with the numbers 1, 0, and 2.
This is a pretty smart move on Nintendo’s part to lower the number of confused customers who have to key in their download codes on the Nintendo eShop.
