An interesting observation has been made in the Nintendo Switch version of World of Final Fantasy Maxima.
According to ResetERA user bonkasaurus, for reasons unknown, World of Final Fantasy Maxima does not adjust its resolution whenever you dock or undock your Switch.
This means if you start the game in Handheld Mode and dock the system, it will look awful on the big screen. But, if you boot up the game in TV Mode and undock the system, it’s going to look way nicer in Handheld Mode.

The only way to force the game to adjust to the correct resolution is by restarting it. This will probably be fixed in a future patch.
