A few pieces of interesting information have been discovered about GameShare, a new feature on Nintendo Switch 2 that allows you to share and receive games with other players locally and online.
When you receive a game through GameShare locally or online, you can play that game for the entire duration without having to close the game you were playing. For example, if you’re playing Mario Kart World and accept an invitation from a friend to play a game through GameShare, accepting the invitation will not close Mario Kart World – you can continue from where you left off after your GameShare session.
In addition, after the GameShare session ends, an icon of the game will appear on the HOME Menu. Pressing it will bring you to the game’s product page on the Nintendo eShop.
Keep in mind that both of these behavior were observed on Nintendo Switch 2, so they could be different on Nintendo Switch.
