Zamazenta Plushies Not As Popular As Zacian At Pokemon Center Japan

Today we have some interesting observations to share with you about the Zacian and Zamazenta plushies at Pokemon Center Japan.

For those who are unaware, Zacian is the cover legendary for Pokemon Sword, while Zamazenta is the cover legendary for Pokemon Shield. Although both games usually sell about the same number of copies, Zacian seems to be much more popular than Zamazenta in Japan.

This is because the shelves allocated to Zacian plushies at Pokemon Center Japan are completely empty, while the shelves for the Zamazenta plushies are filled to the brim:

Same goes for the photo below – no one wants to buy Zamazenta, but Zacian is so popular that there’s only one left:
