Yesterday the Business Insider reported Blizzard Entertainment will eventually implement cross platform play for Diablo III: Eternal Collection across all platforms, including Nintendo Switch.
The company has clarified to Dualshockers in a statement that they do not have any plans to implement it at this point of time. Here’s the statement:
“While we love the idea of bringing our players together across platforms, we do not have any plans to implement cross-platform gameplay for Diablo at this time.”
Looks like our hopes have been dashed. Hopefully, Blizzard will reconsider this idea in the future.
