This Halloween, you’ll be able to squint your eyes sore on the Nintendo Switch.
Developer Adriaan de Jongh’s Hidden Folks will be launching October 31 on Nintendo eShop, for $14.99. Like the classic ‘Where’s Waldo?’ books, this game features thousands of characters and objects to search for, across more than 25 huge dioramas.
Check out the original trailer below.
Search for hidden folks in hand-drawn, interactive, miniature landscapes. Unfurl tent flaps, cut through bushes, slam doors, and poke some crocodiles! Rooaarr!!
A strip of targets shows you what to look for. Click on a target for a hint, and find enough to unlock the next area.
In case you like numbers a lot:
- 25+ hand-drawn areas
- 250+ targets to find
- 1600+ mouth-originated sound effects
- 400+ unique interactions
- 3 play modes supported: TV mode, Tabletop mode, and Handheld mode
- 3 color modes: normal, sepia, and night mode
