Japan: Day One Sales For Blade Arcus Rebellion From Shining, Destiny Connect, The Caligula Effect

Media Create has published Day-One sales figures for several new Switch titles this week.

Check out a summary below.

  • Blade Arcus Rebellion from Shining
    • 20% sell-through
    • Poor performance.
    • Many units remain unsold, likely due to a shrinking market for fighting games. Additionally, the Shining franchise is somewhat of a small niche already.

  • Destiny Connect
    • 20% sell-through
    • Poor performance, especially for a Nippon Ichi Software game.
    • Japanese players might not have been receptive to its unique 3D look.

  • The Caligula Effect: Overdose
    • 30% sell-through
    • poor debut.
    • However, this is expected of many late ports.
