Japan: Luigi’s Mansion 3DS Was The Bestselling Game Last Week

Media Create has published the latest round of sales data for the Japanese market (November 5 – November 11, 2018).

Luigi’s Mansion debuted in Japan  on Nintendo 3DS last week. It was the bestselling video game in Japan and opened at 27,370 copies.

There were no major new first party titles released on Nintendo Switch last week, but still we’re seeing strong performance for games such as Super Mario Party (No. 3, 23,333), Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (No. 5, 8,466), and Minecraft (No. 6, 7,562).

Nintendo Switch hardware sales stood at 54,235 systems sold last week. Market share has increased to 68.8%.
