We have some really bad news for those of you planning to head to the official Kirby Cafe in Japan.
As you may know, the Kirby Cafe will be open in Japan from September 27, 2018 to February 17, 2019. But today, we have discovered that Kirby Cafe: The Store (merchandise shop) will only be open from September 27 to November 11, 2018.
Unfortunately, we do not really know or understand the rationale behind the store closing two months before the cafe does. That’s all we know. So if you’re planning to purchase Kirby Cafe merchandise and eat at the cafe, it’s best to head to Tokyo this year.
Lastly, we’d like to point out that entering Kirby Cafe: The Store requires a separate reservation that can be made on the official website. While it doesn’t make sense, there’s nothing we can do about it.
What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
