GameStop has released a new board game called Monopoly Gamer: Mario Kart across all of its stores in North America today. The board game will be out at other retailers from June 1.
Monopoly Gamer: Mario Kart plays pretty much the same as a regular Monopoly game, but with a few special twists. For example, every time a player passes Go, they will flip over a Grand Prix card, which triggers a Race.
To enter the race, players will have to pay 1 or more coins. Roll the die to see who places what in a race, and prizes are doled out based on your position.
Unlike regular Monopoly, the game doesn’t end when all the other players go bankrupt. Instead, the game ends once the final Grand Prix card is drawn. The player with the most points accumulated from buying property, winning races, and coins wins.
