Nintendo of America’s upcoming president Doug Bowser is already getting some fun recognition from the larger entertainment industry.
Following Nintendo’s sponsorship of the recent Kid’s Choice Awards 2019, Nickelodeon decided to send a warm gift to thank Doug Bowser for the company’s participation. As you can see below, it looks like even Nickelodeon couldn’t help but poke some healthy fun at Doug’s namesake as well – namely, by plastering the Koopa King himself on a huge cake.
We get the feeling that Doug Bowser will be enjoying many more fun jabs of this nature in the future, now that he’s taking over Reggie Fils-aimé as the gracious overlord of Nintendo in America. Until then, we’ll be keeping a look-out for more news on the new Nintendo president’s tenure.
