Earlier this week, a report surfaced claiming that Nintendo had been hacked by a notorious hacker group, who showed off a screenshot seemingly depicted some of Nintendo’s internal development folders.
In a statement issued to Japanese publication Sankei Shimbun, Nintendo said that they could not find any leak of personal, development, or business information. Nintendo added that they could not find any evidence of intrusion into their company, although parts of their website were defaced.
Indeed, at the time of this writing, there has been no significant leaks from this supposed Nintendo hack, although another of Nintendo’s affiliates is not so lucky. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
