The official Nintendo store on Shopee Philippines has started taking pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2, and it doesn’t seem to be cheap.
According to the store listings, the Nintendo Switch 2 standalone console retails for PHP31,990 (USD575), while the Mario Kart World set goes for PHP35,500 (USD638). Keep in mind that prices are inclusive of 12% sales tax.
How does this compare to prices in other countries? The standalone console before sales tax in the Philippines is about 14% higher than the US, and 16.7% higher than Hong Kong.
