Nintendo Switch Sees More 90+ Metacritic Scores In Its 1st Year Than PS4 And Xbox One

Besides having fantastic sales, the Nintendo Switch has seen many high scoring Metacritic games in its first year.

According to Metacritic statistics, 7 Nintendo Switch games currently have a Metascore of 90 and above. During the first year of PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U, all three consoles had 6, 1, and 3 games which received a 90 or higher Metascore respectively.

Given that the Switch’s first year isn’t up yet, it’s quite an incredible feat. It’d be interesting to see whether the Switch will be able to keep up the momentum in its second and third year!
