Disney’s Radio Disney Music Awards is being rebranded as ‘ARDYs, A Radio Disney Music Celebration’ and, interestingly, Nintendo will be co-sponsoring the event.
Disney won’t be ditching the annual awards show but some changes will be made this year. Research shows kids especially hate cliched awards shows so Disney took notes and set out to launch the first ARDYs, coming this June 16th.
As it appears, Disney is partnering up with some bigwigs in the industry to promote the event to kids and families and that includes Nintendo, named as one of the lead advertisers. Expect to see Nintendo promoting the ARDYs in the next few weeks and, who knows, we might also get to see some Nintendo announcements along the way.
