Following the release of Nora, Princess, And Crying Cat 2 on Switch and PS4, visual novel fans have been busy dissecting the differences between both versions.
To their pleasant surprise, however, it appears that the game features identical fan-service scenes and visuals on the two consoles. This is unlike its predecessor Nora to Oujo to Noraneko Heart HD Version, where the PS4 version ended up with huge light beams covering its characters.

From the looks of things, the developers at HaruKaze decided not to bend over too hard for Sony’s recent and rampant censorship mandates this time. It’s worth noting, however, that the Switch and PS4 versions still have some censorship compared to the PC version.
Overall, the struggle for Japanese developers of suggestive games will likely continue. From the Senran Kagura series producer considering less-lewd projects to Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet missing some features on PS4, consumers can expect to see less and less games that are sexy just for the sake of it.
