Official Pokemon GO Twitter Accounts Across The World Now Teasing Something Moon-Related
It looks like something dark or luminous is heading to Pokemon GO fans pretty soon.
Since this weekend, various Pokemon GO official Twitter accounts in France, Latin America, and more have begun to post cryptic hints related to the moon. In particular, the posts simply contain an emoji of various phases of the Moon, starting from the Full Moon (?) before becoming a Waning Gibbous Moon (?). This seems to imply that the moon is getting darker.

For now, it’s unclear what these are hinting toward. Some fans are now speculating that it could be related to the upcoming Lunar New Year of the Rat starting next week – which will involve another rodent-like Pokemon. Others are predicting that either Darkrai or Cresselia will have some featured event, since Cresselia’s moonlight theme opposes Darkrai’s shadowy one.
