Pokemon Center Japan Announces Paired Plushies That Hug Each Other

Pokemon fans can look forward to enjoying some adorable affection with these upcoming stuffed toys!

The Pokemon Company has announced and revealed an official new line of “Buru Buru…Mugyu!” plushies that feature certain Pokemon and their pre-evolutions hugging each other. When each pair of plushies is pulled apart, they will move toward each other for a hug again.

There will be four pairs of plushies in total: Pikachu/Pichu, Jigglypuff/Igglybuff, Marill/Azurill, and Sudowoodo/Bonsly. Customers will be able to grab them at Pokemon Center stores within Japan from 16 December 2023 onward.

International fans should also be able to order these plushies from Amazon Japan closer to the release date. In the meantime, check out some teaser images below!
