Following rumors earlier this month, eshop listings for Pokemon Firered and Leafgreen have appeared on the Switch eshop.
At the time of this writing, players who search for Pokemon in the eshop should be able to find listings for both games. According to the description, they are ports of the original releases for the Game Boy Advance, and will include the Sevii Islands, support for local wireless battling and trading, and eventual connectivity with Pokemon HOME. The release date is also set for February 27th 2026.
The Pokemon Company has yet to make the official announcement a the time of this writing. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
