In the last decade, there were rumors and speculation that Game Freak was planning to work on a follow-up to Pokemon X and Y, which would have taken place in the Kalos region.
Now that Pokemon Sun and Moon’s source code has been leaked online, internal data shows that Game Freak had reserved slots for two Pokemon games that would have taken place in the Kalos region. No names were specified for the two games, so now it’s up to us to guess why they were cancelled.
