Resident Evil fans can soon grab three more entries in the series for Switch with an all-new bundle – although some collectors may not appreciate what’s on offer.
Capcom has revealed that a Resident Evil Triple Pack will be launching for Switch on 29 October 2019, for $59.99 USD. The package collects Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, and Resident Evil 6 – but only Resident Evil 4 will be on the cartridge. Customers will have to redeem the other two games through a one-time download voucher, which may be disappointing for many to hear.
The whole download code situation is similar to Resident Evil Origins Collection, where only Resident Evil 0 was on the cartridge. Overall, it looks like Capcom may be trying to cut costs again with smaller-capacity cartridges.
In any case, you can still check out the box-art below. We’ll post updates when pre-orders go live.
