Following the release of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, it seems that another major media giant is planning their own take on a Super Smash Bros.-style crossover fighting game.
The rumor comes via a post on the Gaming Leaks subreddit, which has since been corroborated by industry insiders such as Jeff Grubb. According to the rumor, Warner Bros is working on a “tag-team” platform fighting game similar to Super Smash Bros., and will reportedly feature the following characters in its roster:
- Shaggy (Scooby Doo)
- Gandalf (Lord of the Rings)
- Tom & Jerry
- Batman
- Fred Flintstone
- Mad Max
- Johnny Bravo
Should this rumor prove true, having Shaggy, Batman, and Gandalf duking it out in the same game will certainly be a sight to behold. We will be sure to report back with more details as this story develops.
