Following Fukushima’s Chansey Park, Kagawa’s upcoming Slowpoke Park, and Iwate’s upcoming Geodude Park, the Pokemon Company will be embarking on the construction of yet another Pokemon playground park in Japan!
The Pokemon Company has announced the construction of a “Sandshrew Park” in Japan’s Tottori Prefecture. As seen in the concept artwork above, the playground is planned to feature slides, sand pits and more themed after Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew.
The park will open within Chubu Tottori Sand Dunes Children’s Park in May 2023. Here’s a brief video from the press reveal for the project, where mascots of Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew were present:
