Last year, one Sonic Mania fan kicked off a campaign to create an official LEGO set based on the game – with 10,000 votes required for LEGO to consider the idea. Well, it looks like the set may finally become a reality in the new future!
As of this week, the campaign managed to obtain 10,000 votes on the LEGO Ideas portal – and will now officially enter into review by LEGO. As thanks to every fan who lent their support, the campaign creator shared the following artwork:
Of course, this doesn’t confirm that the set will actually be published. For now, LEGO will need to go through the process of talking to SEGA and sorting out other specifics – such as the pieces and practical value of the set.
We’ll just have to wait and see if this becomes a reality in the future. Stay tuned!
