On July 13, pre-orders officially kicked off for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee at Japanese retailers.
Both games are some of the hottest Nintendo Switch titles anticipated for 2018, but which game performed the best? On Amazon Japan, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is currently the No. 1 and No. 2 bestselling video game product, only to be preceded by the Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee + Poke Ball Plus packs.
On Rakuten Japan and Bic Camera, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the bestselling video game. The only exception is Yodobashi Camera, where Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the No. 2 bestseller, which has been overtaken by Octopath Traveler.
