Taiko No Tatsujin Series Hits 10 Million Copies Sold On Consoles, Drum N’ Fun New Update Now Live

Today, Bandai Namco Entertainment is celebrating a major milestone for the Taiko no Tatsujin console game franchise.

According to the company, over 10 million console games in the Taiko no Tatsujin series have been sold worldwide as of May 16, 2019, with Drum N’ Fun selling more than 600k copies.

Alongside the announcement, a major update for Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n Fun has been released today as promised. Donkatsu Fight is a new game mode compatible with every single piece of music in the game. In Donkatsu Fight, you accumulate Taiko Power by striking perfect notes to attack your opponent. Once your opponent’s HP depletes, it’s K.O.! Donkatsu Fight could be enjoyed alone or by two players.
