As you probably know, Nintendo has shipped out the NES Switch controllers to Nintendo Switch Online members who ordered them earlier this year.
While Nintendo has officially stated that the controllers only work with the NES/Famicom app for Nintendo Switch Online members, it appears it works with one Nintendo Switch game – Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
