VFX Artist Re-Animates Link: The Faces Of Evil Cutscenes In Frightening CGI

By now, most fans will know of Link: The Faces of Evil – an infamously terrible Zelda title that launched on the failed Phillips CD-i console long ago. The game is both spited and beloved for its low-quality animations, and now one fan has gone above and beyond to re-create their awfulness for modern generations!

As you can see below, a VFX artist named Hoolopee recently re-animated two cutscenes from the game in bizarre CGI form – and the results are impressive yet irksome, to say the least! These particular cutscenes involve the shopkeeper Morshu, who slides all over the screen uncomfortably as he chides Link about having too little money to purchase his items:
