This Wii U Shelf Looks Really Sad

When the Nintendo Switch was first revealed to the world in October 2016, everyone knew the ill-fated Wii U’s time was almost up.

Retailers all over Japan have shelves full of Nintendo Switch and 3DS software, but how’s the Wii U corner looking like a year after its death? Twitter user PushDustIn, who lives in Japan, snapped a photo of a Wii U section at a retailer in Japan. The only thing left on the shelf is a copy of Minecraft: Wii U Edition and a notice that Miiverse has ended.

Looks pretty sad, don’t you think? Let us know how the Wii U corner is looking like at your local retailer!
