During the Mobile World Congress today, SanDisk announced the world’s first 1TB microSD memory card.
According to SanDisk, the 1TB memory card has a 160MB/s read speed and a 90MB/s write speed, good enough for playing Nintendo Switch games. With 1TB, you could fit up to 45 digital versions of Wolfenstein II or up to 175 digital versions of Super Mario Odyssey. There’s literally so much space waiting to be filled.
The SanDisk 1TB microSD memory card will retail for USD449.99, scheduled to launch in April 2019.
