Previously, we reported on Niantic Labs’ latest AR game heading to smartphones, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. With the game playing similarly to Pokemon GO, fellow trainers will be happy to know that they can get a small head-start on the magical mobile adventure.
Niantic Labs is now letting Pokemon GO players reserve their current usernames for the wizard-themed experience. Registration is very simple, as outlined in the following steps:
(1) Head to Niantic’s website.
(2) Click on ‘Use my Pokémon GO Trainer Nickname‘
- Log into your Pokémon GO account using Google, Facebook, or Niantic Kids.
- If you have a Pokémon Trainer Club account, you can link to your Facebook or Google account to reserve your Code Name in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.
(3) Niantic will reserve your current Pokémon GO Trainer Nickname in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite if it’s available.
Will you be jumping into this brand-new mobile game from Niantic – or is Pokemon GO already a handful? Let us know below.
