Some unfortunate news for any of you out there still watching Youtube videos on your 3DS.
Nintendo has announced that the Youtube App for the 3DS will be shutting down on September 3rd 2019. After this date, it will no longer be available to download from the 3DS eshop, and will no longer work at all for those who have downloaded it.
The news should come as no surprise to many, as the app was already on its last legs for quite some time. In light of the Switch’s continued success and with the Switch Lite on the way, perhaps the end of the Youtube App for 3DS is yet another sign that the console itself will be retired from the market soon.
