Masuda Was Happy To See A Taiwanese Champion At Pokemon World Championships 2019

Gamer Taiwan has shared two special messages for Taiwanese players from Pokemon Sword and Shield developers Junichi Masuda and Shigeru Ohmori.

In his video message, Masuda congratulated Pi Wu for becoming the first Pokemon World Champion from Taiwan. Masuda says he was very happy to see a champion from Taiwan, and noted it has been several years since the first Pokemon games were localized in Chinese:

Shigeru Ohmori went through the various aspects of Pokemon Sword and Shield and hope players will look forward to playing the games:
