Nintendo Is Filing Trademarks For A Bunch Of Their IP, Possibly Smash Related

Nintendo has filed for a bunch of trademarks in Japan under the video games and accessories category, some of them are just logo based trademark like the Super Smash Bros. logo while some like Star Fox includes both logo and name.

– FLIPNOTE STUDIO
– SIN & PUNISHMENT
– THE LEGENDARY STARFY
– NINTENDOGS
– LINK’S CROSSBOW TRAINING
– Wii Fit
– Wii MUSIC
– Wii Play
– Wii Sports

It is unsure what Nintendo wish to do with the trademarks but it is possible that the filing could be in preparation for Super Smash Bros. launch on the Switch later this year.
