Earlier today after Tencent announced the official Nintendo Switch release in China, pre-orders for the system on JD.com surpassed 50,000 units.
Now that it’s evening in China, pre-orders have literally doubled. According to e-commerce site JD.com, the Neon Blue/Neon Red Nintendo Switch has been pre-ordered by 51,708 people, while the Gray Nintendo Switch has been pre-ordered by 52,112 people. That means 103,820 people have pre-ordered the Switch even before the day ended.
Keep in mind that TMall is also taking pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch, so chances are the number of pre-orders is significantly higher than what we shared from JD.com.
